Halloween

I am so far behind...
That phrase has become the story of my life.  I think I'll catch up in late 2024.  September-ish, I'm thinking.  Possibly August.  But until then, bear with me as I drag you back to Halloween of 2009.

I have this obsession with The Theme.  So you can imagine my horror when I couldn't fashion a spatula costume in time for my brother....I'll let you decide which person is my brother.

We've got three chickens, some salt & pepper shakers...Oh, and of course, I am a deviled egg.  I'm sure you got that.  But did you catch what Jay is?  That's a garden stake on his egg white.....Make me proud, people...if you know what Jay is, say it in comments...

Anywho, a tad tardily, but most heartily, I say to you, my friends:

Bok bok...

and a little boo...

A happy belated Halloween to you!

Was it steak and eggs? How very cute the idea was! I love how they were all good eggs, pun intended!

Now, I give up, what is your brother supposed to be? (The one with the black wig)

Too funny, and very creative!
Don't worry about behind. I always am. The other day I mentioned Thanksgiving was next week. J just shook his head. Thats what happens when you spend too much time with 3chickens and I spend too much time scooping poop for horses.

So very cute! I love the idea of a theme, but am usually not on top of things to pull it off. :) Hey, cavemen probably ate eggs, right? I don't know if they had salt and pepper, but...

ADORABLE!!! I've never seen cuter or more creative family-themed costumes! You're a whiz! And I always say better late than never!

p.s. Elle, I couldn't find an email address for you, but wanted to thank you for the sweet note about my Thanksgiving post. I didn't see it until today. ((hugs))

Puuuuuleeeese I'm just as behind. Look how long its been since I last posted and forget commenting on anyones blog.

I like your themed costumes. That's cool that you got your family to participate. No clue what your husband was but I'm not clever like that.
