Prayer

Whisper a prayer into your hands.

Then blow on it just like a dandelion

and watch it float right up to heaven.

For when prayers go up,

we know grace rains down.

And while you may not always receive the blessing you were expecting,

just keep looking through the eyes of love,

and the joy of the Lord will always be found.

* I tweaked a Yiddish proverb from "prayers go up and blessings come down" to "For when prayers go up, we know grace rains down".

Great pictures to go with a wonderful post! I love how she has a glow about her in the pictures. :)

It's such a lovely idea to whisper a prayer into your hands and then to blow to send your prayer up. I'll have to share this with the kiddies. Thanks for sharing! :)

I think this post is perfection. Of course the pictures are beautiful - how could they be anything but? Her eyes. Oh, her eyes! But, the words. The words touched my heart.

Thank you.

I do believe you have an angel living right under your roof! Don't say I didn't warn you when the papparazzi come round. : )

That was so beautiful. I love when children reflect such profound truths, without even trying, really.
