My kids like bugs and worms and dirt.
It is so much fun to spend time with them outdoors and see the delight in their discoveries and field their questions.

Grace filled her bug catcher with everything she could think of that earthworms might like.  Then as I pulled up weeds in the yard, the kids took the earthworms off the roots and put them in the bug house.

It was such a beautiful day, unseasonably warm, and they were outside for most of it.

I love to see my children interested in nature, in God's amazing creations, and not be afraid or timid.

We found a ladybug too, and it was such a thrill for the twins to have him crawling up and down their fingers.

What a day.  Thanking God for times like these.

Too cute!
as I mentioned before my youngest loves worms. I even stuck a video on Youtube a few years ago.

Ladybugs are awesome! I have a little stuffed ladybug from my little guy that I keep just below the dash of my car. My grandma used to call me her little miss ladybug, so now when I see it (which is a lot!) I think of her and the male twin. : )
